Illume is a project of Lone Star Observatories — a Texas dark-sky company that measures, preserves, and remembers the sky.

Every card we print counts something the world is quietly losing. Since 1990, the average night sky over an American city has lost roughly two-thirds of its visible stars to artificial light. Fifteen more percent in the last decade. The trend is compounding. Every keepsake we ship is a small, honest witness to that.

Ten percent of every Illume sale funds LSO's dark-sky preservation work — advocacy for shielded lighting ordinances, support for International Dark-Sky places, and the free tools we build for astrophotographers.
